How did you feel when you found out you were chosen to be Kappa Psi’s brother of the month?
I was delighted to find out I was brother of the month! It is very sweet, and I appreciate the thought from all of my Kappa Psi brothers. Thank you!
What are you enjoying the most so far from being a Brother of Kappa Psi?
I enjoy the new bonds I have made with my classmates and all the activities we do outside of school.
Can you tell us about some of the on-going projects you are involved with in Kappa Psi?
I just finished editing the Chapter report video, which is basically a summary of everything we have done this semester. It is a parody of “Thank U, Next” and I am very proud of all the brothers who helped create it. Additionally, I will be attending province this Friday, where the video will be shown to all Kappa Psi chapters on the west coast. As Historian, I write our chapter’s articles and take photos for the Kappa Psi magazine, “The Mask”. Also, this month, I attended “Reach Out and Read” at Powers Ginsburg Elementary with the philanthropy committee where we read to students! It was so much fun, and I plan to do it again next year.

What is your current year in pharmacy school and what are you enjoying the most out of your classes? Is there a particular class you enjoy the most? Why?
I am in my P2 year. Currently, I am enjoying my elective “Pharmacogenomics & Precision Medicine” with Drs. Vinayak and Anitha Shenoy. I like it because it gives us more detail on medications and highlights the differences in metabolism based on genetics.
What initially made you interested to pursue a career in pharmacy?
I used to work at a hospital in New Hampshire where I shadowed various medical professionals. When I shadowed the inpatient pharmacists, I knew I was choosing the right profession. I learned there are many opportunities with pharmacy, and I look forward to my upcoming IPPE.
Do you have any hobbies? What are your interest and/or how do you usually like to spend your free time?
I like cooking, karaoke, volleyball, and playing fetch with my dog, Mator.
What is an interesting fact or story about you that many people don’t know?
I have taken two road trips across the US.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Working as a Pharmacist in the central valley.
